Sealand is a larger game I am currently working on.
My purpose for this project is to explore a different form of game making. My usual process involves concepting and prototyping an interesting mechanic and building the game from there. With this project, however, I've focused on the game world, the visual elements, and the narrative themes, and let the mechanic evolve naturally from these.
The game centers around two distinct areas, each with a different gameplay mechanic and feel. That's all I'm going to say for now. But check out some of my pixel art!
